HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team fell to West Florida by a final score of 62-47 on Thursday evening at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in nonconference action. UAH slides to 8-19 (8-15 GSC), while UWF improves to 19-4 (20-6 GSC).
Jesse Jennings led the Chargers offense for the second game in a row with a team-high 16 points as she went 6-of-10 from the field and 2-for-3 on three-pointers across 34 minutes on the floor.
Haley Nichols rated second on the team with 11 points while grabbing a roster-leading seven rebounds and tying for the team lead with two assists.
Haelim Adle also had a strong all-around performance with nine points, six rebounds, one assist and one steal.
The Chargers wrap up the 2022-23 campaign on Saturday with a visit from Valdosta State. Tip-off slated for 2 p.m. at Spragins Hall.
