ST. LEO, Fla. | The University of Alabama in Huntsville baseball team topped Saint Leo by a final score of 9-8 in 10 innings on Friday evening on the road in nonconference action. UAH improves to 1-1, while SLU slides to 1-1.

The Chargers registered 12 base hits in the win, led by
Landon Ezzell with a 4-for-6 performance with two runs and two RBI. One of Ezzell's four base hits was a solo shot in the ninth.

Mitchell Rottier scored a team-best three runs in four trips to the plate, while both
Garrett Bodine and
Brock Butler notched two-hit performances. Bodine has now registered at least one base hit in 35 consecutive games.
