HUNTSVILLE | The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's basketball team fell to West Georgia by a final score of 85-65 on Wednesday evening at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slips to 7-17 (7-13 GSC), while UWG improves to 10-13 (9-11 GSC).

Haley Nichols guided the Chargers in the Wednesday matchup at Spragins Hall with her sixth double-double of the season with a team-high 20 points and 10 rebounds.

Nichols additionally added four assists, one block and one steal, while going 9-of-18 from the field against West Georgia.

Alaina Taylor rated second on the roster with 16 points, as she also notched a team-best three stelas on Wednesday. Taylor has now scored 10 or more points in eight of the past nine games.

Andie Flatgard gave the Chargers three players in double-digit scoring with 13 points, while playing a team-high 35 minutes on Wednesday.

Haelim Adle helped guide the offense with a team-best five assists over 26 minutes on the floor.

UAH shot 39.1 percent (25-64) from the field and 28.0 percent (7-25) on three-pointers on Wednesday. The Chargers held the edge over the Wolves in rebounds (35-31), assists (11-10), steals (5-3), and points in the paint (36-26).
