HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's basketball team cruised past Auburn Montgomery by a final score of 96-83 on Monday evening at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 12-5 (10-3 GSC), while AUM slides to 6-10 (3-9 GSC).

Jack Kostel was electric offensively against the Warhawks with a team-leading 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor that featured a 4-for-7 mark on three-pointers. Kostel additionally posted four rebounds and a roster-best five assists over 30 minutes on the floor.

A total of four Chargers scored in double-digits in the victory, as
Luke Burnett (15 points),
Daniel Saylor (14 points) and
Tommy Murr (10 points) joined Kostel with 10 points or more on Monday.

Saylor was efficient from the floor on the night, shooting 6-of-7 on field goals in his performance.

Dalton Dodd pulled down a team-high five rebounds, while also adding nine points in a 3-for-3 night from the field.

Overall, UAH shot 50.8 percent (30-59) on field goals and 36.1 percent (13-36) on three-pointers, while limiting AUM to 48.3 percent (28-58) from the field.

The Chargers additionally held the edge over the Warhawks in rebounding (36-30), fastbreak points (11-10), second chance points (20-18) and points in the paint (34-24).
