LIVINGSTON, Ala. | The UAH men's basketball team fell in a Gulf South Conference matchup against West Alabama by a final score of 69-64 on Saturday evening. UAH falls to 13-6 (11-4 GSC), while West Alabama improves to 13-6 (10-5 GSC).

The Charger offense was led by
Auston Leslie in Saturday's action as the junior put up 17 points and was 6-for-8 from the field and 2-for-3 from behind the three point line. Leslie's 17 points tie his career high, matching a total he achieved against Lee in December of 2021.Â

UAH had a total of three players in double-figure scoring, with
Tommy Murr (14 points, 4-9 FG) and
Daniel Saylor (11 points, 5-6 FG) joining Leslie.

Jack Kostel and Saylor led the Chargers in rebounds, with each tallying six boards for the game. Saylor also contributed three blocks.

Overall on Saturday, the Chargers shot 44.9 percent (22-49) and 28 percent (7-25) on three-pointers. UAH held a sizable edge over West Alabama in bench points (28-11).
