LIVINGSTON, Ala. | The UAH women's basketball fell on the road in overtime at West Alabama by a final score of 67-65 on Saturday afternoon in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 7-11 (6-9 GSC), while UWA improves to 5-14 (4-11 GSC).

Haley Nichols registered a double-double to lead UAH overall at West Alabama, as the junior generated 14 points and a team-high 13 rebounds in the contest. Nichols went 5-for-9 from the field and 2-for-3 on three-pointers.

Bellah Machen guided the Chargers offense on Saturday with a team-high 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor to go along with five rebounds.

Freshman
Bella White nearly achieved a double-double as well on Saturday, posting 11 points and eight rebounds, while also recording a team-high four assists.

White's free throw with 17 seconds remaining forced the overtime opportunity.

The Chargers held the edge over the Tigers in rebounding (44-31), bench points (23-17), second change points (17-7) and points in the paint (30-24) on Saturday.

This was UAH's first overtime game of the season and the first since Feb. 24, 2022 against Mississippi College.
UAH is back in action twice at home next weekend on Thursday against Shorter and Saturday against Lee.
