BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference announced its weekly women's track & field honorees, and the UAH women's track & field team was represented by
Amiah Murry as GSC Freshman of the Week, GSC Field Athlete of the Week and GSC Track Athlete of the Week.

She is the first-ever GSC male or female athlete to sweep the indoor track & field awards, and is also the first GSC indoor athlete to win all three awards in their career.

Murry competed with the Chargers at the Louisville PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational over the weekend, highlighted by an NCAA provisional performance in the triple jump at 11.90 meters. She now rates 22nd in NCAA Division II in the triple jump.

The Albertville, Alabama, native also ran the fastest 400-meter race in the GSC this season at a time of 58.28, while additionally helping UAH's 4x400 meters relay team to a GSC-best time of 3:54.17.

Murry and the rest of the Chargers look ahead to competing at the South Carolina Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
