JACKSON, Tenn. | The UAH men's basketball team fell in a Gulf South Conference matchup at Union by a final score of 87-82 on Monday evening. UAH slides to 10-4 (8-2 GSC), while Union improves to 8-6 (5-5 GSC).
Tommy Murr and
Luke Burnett led the way for the Chargers offense, with Murr scoring 18 points and Burnett putting up 17. Murr added three rebounds and a pair of assists to his stat total in 27 minutes.
Jack Kostel notched a team high in assists and rebounds for the Chargers, tallying five assists and 13 rebounds in the contest.
Overall on Monday, the Chargers shot 43.1 percent (28-65) and 33.3 percent (13-39) on three-pointers. UAH held the edge over UWA in bench points (34-23) and points off turnovers (11-9).
UAH heads back home for a pair of opponents in Spragins Hall this week as they host Valdosta State on Thursday and West Florida on Saturday.
