CLINTON, Miss. | The UAH volleyball team dropped a Tuesday evening match at Mississippi College for their first road loss of the season in a 3-1 defeat.
The Chargers dropped to 18-3 (9-2 GSC) with the loss, while the Lady Choctaws improved to 10-9 (8-3 GSC).
UAH won the first set 27-25 as they outpaced MC in kills with 14 to 13 and had a .212 hitting percentage. The Choctaws would sweep the next three sets on their way to a win.
Autumn Mayes led the Chargers in kills with 16 on a .424 hitting percentage and aces with two, while
Kayla Ward recorded 12 kills and two solo blocks.
Tatiana Bonilla highlighted the UAH defense with 16 digs as Mayes posted 14.
Next up, UAH will host a pair of GSC foes this weekend, with Trevecca Nazarene visiting on Friday and Lee on Saturday.
