NEW ORLEANS | The UAH men's track & field team will enter the 2024 NCAA Division II National Championships next Saturday at No. 14 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Rankings.
 
The Chargers most recently finished second in the 2024 NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country South Region Championships this past Saturday at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, as Sam Wilhelm led the field with a time of 30:15.99 to earn South Region Runner of the Year.
 
UAH also boasted three more All-South Region performers in Noah Georgia, Nathan Knox and Nate Pohlsander with each finishing in the top 25 at the regional.
 
This is the Chargers fifth consecutive berth to Nationals and the 11th time in program history.
 
The 2024 NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country Championships are set for Saturday, Nov. 23, in Sacramento, California, at the Arcade Creed Cross Country Course. The men's 10k begins at 12 p.m. CT next Saturday.
