SACRAMENTO, Calif. | The No. 14 UAH men's cross country team is set to race in the 2024 NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country National Championships for the 10th time in program history on Saturday at 12 p.m. CT.
 
The 2024 NCAA Division II Men's Cross Country Championships will compete in a 10-kilometer race on Saturday at Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, California. Live video of Saturday's race will stream live on NCAA.com, and live results are also available for Nationals.
 
The Chargers earned their fifth straight berth to Nationals after placing second as a team in the 2024 NCAA Division II South Region Championships at John Hunt Park in Huntsville on Nov. 9.
 
UAH boasts a total of four All-South Region performers including Sam Wilhelm, Noah George, Nathan Knox and Nate Pohlsander as all placed in the top 25 of the UAH-hosted regional. Wilhelm has been the Chargers leader again in his senior campaign, as he was recently named USTFCCCA South Region Athlete of the Year after winning the regional championship individually.
 
Last season, Wilhelm highlighted the Chargers at Nationals by becoming the program's first-ever All-American with a 40th-place finish at a time of 30:19.8. Overall, UAH placed 27th as a team at Nationals in 2023.
