CLEVELAND, Tenn. | The UAH women's basketball team dropped Saturday afternoon's Gulf South Conference road game at No. 21 Lee by a final score of 66-51. UAH slides to 7-2 (3-1 GSC), while LU improves to 9-1 (2-1 GSC).

Alexis Woods led the Chargers in the matchup against the Flames with a team-high 10 points, eight rebounds and five assists across 17 minutes on the floor on Saturday.

Woods has now recorded 10 or more points in five of the past six games, while her eight rebounds and five assists are the most for the senior in GSC play this season.

Ivey Maddox also turned in a strong performance for UAH with 10 points and seven rebounds in her 36 minutes of action. Maddox went 4-for-6 from the field and 2-of-3 on three-pointers in the setback.

Overall, UAH shot 45.5 percent (20-44) on field goals at Lee and 33.3 percent (5-15) on three-pointers. The Chargers also outrebounded the Flames 32-22, while holding the edge over the hosts in points in the paint 28-26.

The Chargers return to Kelly Court at Spragins Hall for two home games next week including Mississippi College on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and Delta State on Saturday at 2 p.m.
