HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's basketball team won its sixth straight game with a 69-54 victory over West Florida on Monday night at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 6-1 (3-0 GSC), while UWF slides to 5-3 (1-1 GSC).
 
This is the Chargers best start in conference play since the 2011-12 campaign when UAH opened league action with four straight victories.
 
UAH's offense featured a balanced attack in the Monday victory with four players posting 10 points or more, led by 
Lili Wilken who posted a team-high 15 points to go along with a roster-leading six assists and three steals.
 
She has scored 10 points or more in each of UAH's seven games this season.
 
Bellah Machen notched a double-double against the Argos, as she rated second on the team with 12 points in addition to a team-best 10 rebounds. Overall, UAH outrebounded UWF 39-36 in the contest.
 
Freshmen 
Mia Hollingsworth and 
Ivey Maddox both added 10 points in the win to round out UAH's double-digit scorers.
 
UAH excelled from beyond the arc, shooting 38.7 percent (12-31) on three-pointers. The Chargers shot 40.7 percent (24-59) from the field, while limiting the Argos to 32.1 (18-56) percent shooting in the game.
 
The Chargers also held the edge over the Argonauts in fast break points (4-3), points off turnovers (14-4) and points in the paint (22-12).
 
UAH wraps up its homestand with a nonconference matchup on Thursday at 6 p.m. against visiting Johnson.
