ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. | UAH track & field alum Easter Grant competed at the 2024 USA Track & Field Indoor Championships last weekend, breaking the American record for the 40-44 Division in the masters 200-meter dash.

Grant recorded a time of 24.60 in 200 meters to break the USATF record for ages 40-44, finishing atop the field on Saturday.

She is the first-ever UAH sprinter to qualify for the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships, as she competed in the 200-meter dash in 2004. She also qualified for Nationals in 2005 as a member of the Chargers 4x100 meters relay squad.

Grant was a member of the UAH women's track & field program from 2001-05, graduating from the University with a bachelor's in management information systems.

She still holds one outdoor record at UAH as a member of UAH's 4x200 meters relay squad that had a time of 1:42.53 at the Alabama Relays in 2005.
