Women's Basketball Slips in Thursday Matchup at West Florida

PENSACOLA, Fla. | The UAH women's basketball team fell on the road at West Florida by a final score of 60-47 on Thursday evening in Gulf South Conference action. UAH slides to 9-17 (8-15 GSC), while UWF rises to 15-12 (12-11 GSC).
 
Freshman Bella White led the Chargers at West Florida with a team-high 11 points and 11 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. She additionally played a roster-leading 37 minutes on Thursday night.
 
White was followed offensively by Haelim Adle and Elyse Hughes with eight points apiece.
 
Haley Nichols dished out a team-best three assists while also pulling down seven rebounds.
 
The Chargers held the edge over the Argonauts in points in the paint (28-20) and bench points (18-11) on Thursday.
 
UAH wraps up the 2023-24 campaign on Saturday at No. 2 Valdosta State at 1 p.m.
