NEW ORLEANS | The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Association announced its 2023 USTFCCCA All-Academic honorees, and the UAH cross country teams were represented by five men and three women for the prestigious honor.
 
UAH's men's honoree included Will Anglea, Jack Elliott, Noah George, Nathan Knox and Sam Wilhelm, while the Chargers women's team was represented by Amelia Brady, Sophia Knox and Emily McMurry.
 
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
 
The Chargers men's squad ended the season competing at the NCAA Division II Championships, while Emily McMurry represented the UAH women's team as an individual competitor at Nationals.
