HUNTSVILLE | The UAH baseball team dropped a midweek tilt against Emmanuel on Wednesday in non-conference play at Charger Park by a score of 11-6. UAH dropped to 2-2 on the season, while Emmanuel improved to 3-3.
The Lions got out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the third inning before UAH had their highest scoring inning of the day, racking up four runs in the bottom half of the third.Â
The Chargers were led at the plate by a three hit, one RBI afternoon by
Hunter Tillman, while
Brock Butler had a two hit performance.
Jackson Lindsey provided the only multi-RBI game, pushing home two in the game.Â
On the mound, eight Charger pitchers made appearances, with
Justin Perreault,
Tanner Giles,
Logan Mooney, and
Jonah Smith each allowed zero earned runs for the afternoon.
UAH gets back into home action with a noon first pitch tomorrow for a Thursday doubleheader in a three-game series against McKendree.Â
