This will be the third straight season the UAH softball program has hosted the Charger Chillout at Sand Mountain Park in partnership with Marshall County Tourism & Sports.

The Chargers enter the Chillout with a 3-2 overall record after opening the season in the Sunshine State that featured split doubleheaders against Florida Southern and No. 10 Tampa along with a win over Eckerd.

Sophomore Katie Bracken highlighted the Blue & White's opening weekend, starting three games with 24.0 innings pitched, zero earned runs and 23 strikeouts. She won all three of her starts and garnered GSC Pitcher of the Week for her stellar performances.

Senior Kinley Adams starts the weekend with a team-high .455 batting average, while Jada Henderson has collected a roster-best eight total bases thanks to three doubles last weekend.

After the Charger Chillout this weekend, UAH jumps into Gulf South Conference play at Mississippi College next Saturday and Sunday.
