HUNTSVILLE | The UAH baseball team won the final game of a three game series against Gulf South Conference opponent Delta State on Sunday 13-3 to clinch a series victory. The Chargers improved to 14-9 (3-6 GSC) while the Statesmen dropped to 13-10 (6-3 GSC).
The Blue & White left no doubt in this one as they scored seven runs in the first two innings and never trailed as they compiled 13 runs on 13 hits. They took advantage of early DSU errors to contribute to the winning cause, scoring three of their runs as a result of Statesmen errors.Â

Brock Butler led the UAH offense with a 4-for-4 performance with three RBI, while
Carson Villalta and
JC Wilburn each tallied two RBI in two-hit outings.
Caleb Mahan had three hits, while
Merik Carter had two hits.Â
Will Tarpley earned the win after a 5.2 inning performance on the mound as he recorded four strikeouts and gave up three earned runs.
