HUNTSVILLE | The Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced its 2024 D2CCA All-South Region Teams, and the UAH softball team was represented by
Alexa Douthitt,
Lawren Hayes and
Jada Henderson as First Team honorees.

Hayes registers her second career D2CCA All-South Region distinction, while Douthitt and Henderson collect their first career D2CCA regional awards.

Douthitt – the Gulf South Conference Co-Player of the Year – was the Chargers overall offensive leader in her sophomore campaign with a .439 batting average to go along with 12 doubles, 14 home runs and 60 RBI. Her 134 total bases rate fourth in the GSC.

Hayes joins Douthitt as the two Chargers with 110-plus total bases this season, as she's recorded six doubles, a league-high eight triples and four home runs for 110 total bases in 2024. She played all 58 games at second base for UAH in 2024, committing only three errors across 198 total chances for a .985 fielding percentage.

Henderson boasts a team-high .448 batting average and 18 doubles, as she's split her time between outfield, catcher and designated player over 58 games this season. She leads the GSC with a .534 on-base percentage, while also driving in 35 runs.

UAH wrapped up the 2024 campaign with a 40-18 overall record that included a 22-8 mark in GSC play, as the Chargers reached the NCAA tournament for the 21st consecutive season.
