After 37 minutes of scoreless play, Saint Leo took the first lead with a goal by Ella Owen in the 38th minute as both teams would play out the contest to a 1-0 victory for the hosts.

The Chargers return home next Friday for the start of Gulf South Conference play for the 2024 campaign with a visit from the newest member of the league in Trevecca Nazarene. Kick-off set for 5 p.m. next Friday against the Trojans.
