Volleyball Improves to 2-0 on the Weekend in Sweep Over Trevecca

NASHVILLE | The UAH volleyball team won their second straight Gulf South Conference road matchup of the weekend as they defeated Trevecca Nazarene in three sets (25-19, 25-22, 26-24).

The Chargers improved to 12-1 (3-0 GSC) with the win, while the Trojans fell to 5-9 (2-1 GSC). 
 
UAH has dropped just one set in their last six matches. UAH outperformed Trevecca in kills 39 to 35 that helped clinch the victory. Caroline Moyer led the Charger attack with 13 kills on a .258 attack percentage. 

Savannah Rutledge racked up 17 assists in the match and three service aces. Tatiana Bonilla had nine digs, while Autumn Mayes contributed eight digs. Mayes also tallied eight kills and a pair of aces. 

Kayla Ward and Mary Grace Bundrant both tallied a pair of solo blocks and two block assists in the match as the Charger duo rank second and third respectively in the GSC in blocks per set. 

The Chargers return to Huntsville for a three match home stand beginning on Tuesday against West Alabama.
