Women's Basketball Completes Comeback Win at West Florida Saturday

PENSACOLA, Fla. | The UAH women's basketball team completed a fourth quarter comeback with a 69-65 victory on the road at West Florida in Gulf South Conference action on Saturday. UAH improves to 15-3 (10-2 GSC), while UWF slides to 13-5 (9-3 GSC).
 
Junior Lili Wilken guided the Chargers offense with a team-high 28 points to go along with nine rebounds, three assists and two steals across 40 minutes on the floor on Saturday.
 
Wilken went 12-for-20 from the field in the victory, as she has now scored 28 or more points in two GSC games this season.
 
UAH entered the fourth quarter trailing West Florida 51-47, but the Chargers would outpace the Argos 22-14 in the final frame for the road win.
 
Haley Nichols posted her second double-double of the season with 17 points and a team-high 10 rebounds on Saturday. Her 17 points are a season-high for the senior.
 
Bella White generated a team-best eight assists, as she also rated third on the squad with seven rebounds. White's eight assists match her season-high, which has now been accrued three times in the 2024-25 campaign.
 
Overall, UAH shot 42.9 percent (27-63) on field goals and 30.0 percent (6-20) on three-pointers, as the Chargers held the edge over the Argos in rebounds (41-24), points in the paint (36-24) and second chance points (16-4).
 
The Chargers look to extend their five-game win streak at Valdosta State on Monday at 2:30 p.m.
