HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's basketball team started off the week's slate with a 67-61 overtime victory over visiting Montevallo on Thursday night at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in Gulf South Conference action. UAH improves to 12-3 (7-2 GSC), while UM slips to 5-8 (3-5 GSC).

Due to the incoming winter storm, UAH has postponed Saturday's matchup against Auburn Montgomery to Sunday at 2 p.m.

The Chargers offense featured three players with 10 points or more in the victory, guided by
Bella White who had a stellar overall performance with a team-high 16 points to go along with seven rebounds, five assists and one steal over 42 minutes on the floor.

Lili Wilken followed White with 15 points on the night, as the junior also added a team-high eight rebounds and three steals. Alexis rounded out the Chargers in double-digits with 11 points.

Bellah Machen, White and Woods each rated second on the team with seven rebounds, with Machen nearly reaching double-figure points with nine in the matchup.

Overall, UAH held the edge over Montevallo in rebounds (47-39), points off turnovers (15-6), second chance points (14-6) and bench points (25-4).

This was UAH's first overtime game of the season, and the first overtime since Jan. 27, 2024 against West Alabama. This is also the Chargers first overtime win since Feb. 24, 2022.
