HUNTSVILLE | The UAH volleyball team faced off with Christian Brothers in a Gulf South Conference matchup on Friday night at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall and swept the Lady Bucs in three sets (25-21 | 25-11 | 25-18). With the win, the Chargers improved to 13-4 (5-3 GSC), while CBU fell to 7-11 (2-5 GSC).
The Chargers were led offensively by
Zoe Smith with 15 kills on a .429 attack percentage, while
Caroline Moyer and
Carlee Lowry each had seven kills.
Cooper Garrett led UAH in assists with 22, while
Kelsey Gasaway had five assists and two aces.
Defensively, UAH was led by
Sydney Durban with 19 digs, while Smith also contributed 12 digs.
Alex McGeehan had two solo blocks and a block assist.
Mary Grace Bundrant also added three block assists for the Chargers.
