HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The UAH women's soccer team was edged 1-0 by Delta State on Sunday afternoon at Charger Park in Gulf South Conference play. With the result, the Chargers move to 6-5-2 overall and 4-4-1 in the GSC, while Delta State improves to 4-4-4 (3-2-3 GSC).

Delta State scored the lone goal of the match in the 27th minute when Millie Congerton converted off of a corner kick assist from Casey Stalder.

UAH tallied six shots in the contest, including four on target. Carley White led the Chargers with two shots, with one on target. Prescott Hull, Evelina Gustafsson, and Adriana Rojas each tallied a shot on goal.

The Chargers will look to rebound next weekend hosting GSC foes West Alabama at 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct 24 for their final home match of the season and Senior Day at Charger Park.
