HUNTSVILLE | The UAH volleyball team wrapped up a five-match home stand with a matchup against Gulf South Conference opponent Montevallo on Tuesday night at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall and came away with a 3-1 (22-25 | 25-23 | 25-23 | 25-14) victory over the Falcons.
The Chargers improved to 16-4 (8-3 GSC) with the win, while Montevallo fell to 9-12 (6-5 GSC).
Offensively, UAH was highlighted by a 17 kill performance by 
Caroline Moyer as the senior had a .298 attack percentage. 
Anna Clare Hutto had 21 assists to aid the Chargers along with a kill and two aces. 
The defensive side is where the Chargers shined on Tuesday night with a 15 block performance as a team with 
Mary Grace Bundrant leading the way with three solo blocks and four block assists. 
Alex McGeehan added six block assists, while 
Kayla Ward tallied two solo blocks. 
Sydney Durban totaled 22 digs to lead the Blue & White in the category, while Hutto had 18 digs and 
Zoe Smith totaled 15 digs.
The Chargers head on the road to face off with Trevecca Nazarene on Friday at 6 p.m. and Lee on Saturday at 2 p.m.
