VALDOSTA, Ga. | The UAH volleyball team faced off with Gulf South Conference opponent Valdosta State on Friday evening and came away with a three-set victory over the Blazers (25-17 | 25-16 | 25-19). The Chargers improved to 11-4 (3-3 GSC) with the win, while the Blazers fell to 4-10 (3-2 GSC).
Zoe Smith had 11 kills to lead the UAH offense, while
Caroline Moyer put up 10 kills with a .364 attack percentage.
Carlee Lowry posted nine kills with a .389 hitting percentage.Â
Smith additionally led the Chargers in digs with 14 for the match, while
Alex McGeehan had two solo blocks and two block assists to lead the block category.
Anna Clare Hutto had a team-high 18 assists with 10 digs in the match.
Up next for the Chargers is a matchup with Mississippi College on Tuesday, October 7 at 6 p.m. at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall.Â
