HUNTSVILLE | The UAH volleyball team faced off with Gulf South Conference foe Mississippi College on Tuesday evening in SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall and swept the Choctaws in three sets (25-14 | 25-13 | 25-10).
The win marked the 100th victory as head coach of UAH for
Jon Moseley after surpassing 400 career wins two weeks ago. The Chargers improved to 12-4 (4-3 GSC), while MC fell to 7-10 (4-3 GSC).Â
The Chargers were led offensively by
Carlee Lowry and
Caroline Moyer as they had nine kils apiece. Additionally, Moyer and Lowry each had two blocks, while Lowry posted a .444 attack percentage.
Anna Clare Hutto and
Cooper Garrett combined for 25 assists in the match, as Garrett contributed three kills.Â
Defensively,
Mary Grace Bundrant highlighted the block category with three block assists and a solo block.
Sydney Durban had 15 digs in the match to lead the Chargers as
Zoe Smith tallied nine digs.Â
Next up for the Chargers are a pair of GSC opponents in Christian Brothers on Friday at 6 p.m. and Union on Saturday at 2 p.m.
