HUNTSVILLE | The UAH volleyball team won a Gulf South Conference matchup on Senior Day against Valdosta State 3-1 (21-25 | 25-18 | 25-22 | 30-28) at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall on Saturday afternoon. The win marked the 10th straight victory for the Chargers and their seventh straight win at home. 
UAH moved to 20-4 (12-3 GSC) with the win, while the Blazers dropped to 10-15 (9-7 GSC).
Zoe Smith totaled 20 kills to lead the UAH offense and added 19 digs on the defensive side, which tied for second on the team. Fellow senior 
Caroline Moyer joined Smith in double digit kills with 14 on the match and added a solo block with seven digs on the defensive end. 
Cooper Garrett posted 30 assists and 
Anna Clare Hutto added 23 with an ace. 
Sydney Durban had a team-high 20 digs in the match as 
Mary Grace Bundrant led the block category for the Blue & White with two solo blocks. 
Next up for the Chargers is their final home match of the regular season when they host West Alabama on Wednesday, November 5 at 6 p.m.
