No. 6 Men's Basketball Sinks Sand Sharks in 100-66 Victory

HUNTSVILLE | The No. 6 UAH men's basketball team finished up action at the Alabama Credit Union Classic presented by Power Brands Hospitality Group on Sunday as they dominated South Carolina-Beaufort at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall by a score of 100-66. 

The win marked the Chargers' third consecutive and also the third consecutive game in which they have scored triple-digits. 

UAH is now 3-1 on the year, while the loss is USC Beaufort's first of the season at 4-1. 

Quentin Toles led the Blue & White in scoring as the senior was 10-for-18 from the field with 21 points, while Thomas Allard added 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting in a double-double performance as he also added 12 rebounds. 

Bryce Mason had an electric performance as he scored 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting with a three and three breakaway dunks. Griffin Cooper had two blocks, while Knute Wood, Toles, and Allard each added two steals to highlight the Charger defense. 

UAH's largest lead reached 42 points in the second half with 6:52 remaining and the Blue & White outpaced USCB in fastbreak points 27-to-12 and points in the paint 56-to-34. 

The Chargers are back in action at home on Tuesday, November 25 at 3 p.m. against Point at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall.
