MOBILE, Ala. | The No. 8 UAH men's basketball team took to the road for their final non-conference game of the regular season as they defeated Spring Hill in Mobile, Alabama on Saturday afternoon 88-82.
The Chargers improved to 5-1 with the win, while Spring Hill is now 0-5 on the year.
Quentin Toles led the way for the Blue & White offensively with 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting, while
Knute Wood added 17 points in a 5-for-11 performance.
Thomas Allard and
Bryce Mason added 14 and 12 points, respectively. Allard added a team-high six assists in the victory and led the team in rebounds with seven.
Defensively,
Jordan Mabe highlighted the Chargers with a pair of steals, while
Rayven Turner, Toles, Wood, and Mason each added one steal.
UAH held a 23-to-14 advantage in bench points over the Badgers and led the points-off-turnovers margin 26-to-20.
The Chargers open up Gulf South Conference play next weekend as the travel to Pensacola, Florida to take on West Florida.
