CLEVELAND, Miss. | UAH women's basketball continued its dominant run through Gulf South Conference play Saturday afternoon, defeating Delta State 76–60 to extend its winning streak to nine games and improve to 6–0 in conference action.
The victory marked another milestone for the Chargers, who have now won back-to-back games against Delta State in Cleveland for just the second time in program history, joining the 2020–21 season as the only other occurrence.
UAH placed three Chargers in double figures, led by a standout performance from Lili Wilken, who poured in 31 points to pace all scorers. Freshman Ava McSwain continued her strong play with a season-high 20 points, topping her previous best of 18 set Thursday night. McKenzie Percoski provided a spark off the bench, finishing with 10 points.
With the win, UAH made further history, as according to available program records, the Chargers have not previously started 6–0 in Gulf South Conference play.
The Chargers and Statesmen will meet again on Saturday, Feb. 5, at 5:30 p.m. inside SportsMED Arena at Spragins Hall.
UAH will now enjoy the Christmas break before returning to the court for its final game of 2025, hosting LaGrange on Monday, Dec. 30, at 5:30 p.m. at Spragins Hall.
