VALDOSTA, Ga. | The UAH women's basketball team continued its early-season surge on Saturday afternoon, earning a 72–67 road victory over Valdosta State to extend its winning streak to five straight games. With the win, the Chargers improve to 6–3 overall and 2–0 in Gulf South Conference play.
UAH never trailed in the contest and led by as many as 14 points in the second half. Valdosta State rallied late, trimming the deficit to just one point in the fourth quarter, but the Chargers responded with poise down the stretch to secure the five-point win.
Lili Wilken once again led the way, finishing with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks in another standout performance from the conference's leading scorer.
Bella White added 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 1 assist, while the Chargers' bench delivered a crucial boost with 26 total points. Ava McSwain scored 10, and Mia Hollingsworth chipped in 9, shooting 2-for-3 from beyond the arc.
UAH returns home on Thursday, December 11, to host Trevecca at 5:30 p.m. inside SportsMED Arena at Spragins Hall.
