HUNTSVILLE | The UAH women's basketball team came from behind to win Saturday afternoon's game over Trevecca Nazarene by a final score of 75-69 at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall in Gulf South Conference action. UAH rises to 17-4 (12-3 GSC), while TNU slides to 6-15 (3-12 GSC).

UAH trailed by two points entering the fourth quarter, but the Chargers stampeded through to the victory by outpacing the Trojans 23-15 in the fourth quarter for the 75-69 win.

Junior
Lili Wilken had an outstanding performance for the Chargers with a team-high 23 points and nine rebounds to go along with three assists and one steal in her 40 minutes on the floor.

She shot 9-for-18 from the field as well, helping UAH to 42.4 percent (28-66) shooting from the floor on Saturday.

Wilken was joined in double-digit scoring by
Bellah Machen at 15 points and
Alexis Woods with 13 points. Woods also helped UAH dominate the boards with eight rebounds.

Bella White also had a strong all-around performance with a team-high five assists in addition to four rebounds, two blocks and seven points.

Overall, UAH outrebounded Trevecca Nazarene 38-23 for the contest while also holding the edge over the Trojans in second chance points (31-8) and points in the paint (38-32).

The Chargers look ahead to two road games next week with matchups slated at Delta State on Thursday and Mississippi College next Saturday.
