MONTEVALLO, Ala. | The UAH women's basketball team topped Montevallo on the road by a final score of 86-69 on Saturday afternoon in Gulf South Conference play. UAH improves to 22-5 (17-4 GSC), while UM dips to 11-14 (9-11 GSC).
 
The Chargers offense featured four players with 10 points or more in the victory, led by 
Lili Wilken who went 10-for-18 from the field for a team-high 23 points. Wilken also added six rebounds and a roster-leading five steals on Saturday.
 
Bella White rated second on the UAH offense with 16 points on the day, followed by 
Millie Brown and 
Alexis Woods with 13 points apiece. White additionally posted six rebounds and three assists, while Woods grabbed a roster-best eight rebounds to go along with three assists.
 
Haley Nichols also had a strong performance for the Blue & White, registering eight points, seven rebounds and four assists in an efficient 18 minutes on the floor.
 
UAH shot 55.7 percent (34-61) from the field as a team as well as 40.0 percent (8-20), while limiting UM to 42.3 percent (22-52) shooting on field goals. The Chargers also held the edge over the Falcons in points off turnovers (22-10), second chance points (12-5), points in the paint (44-18) and rebounds (35-26).
 
The Chargers wrap up the 2024-25 regular season next Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at West Alabama.
