HUNTSVILLE | The UAH baseball team fell in a midweek matchup at Charger Park to open the home slate of their 2025 schedule by a score of 16-3 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Chargers are now 1-3 to start the year, while Faulkner is 1-0.Â
Faulkner took an early 3-0 lead in the first inning of the game before UAH climbed closer with a two-RBI home run in the bottom of the third inning from the bat of
Brock Butler. The home run would prove to be the only jolt of offense from the Chargers as they had three hits total on the afternoon.Â
Butler had two hits in the game to lead UAH, while
Presley Walker and
Joey Caruso provided the other two hits for the Blue & White.Â
Hunter MacLeod got the start on the mound and pitched 3.2 innings and gave up three earned runs. The junior struck out three in his outing.Â
UAH is back in action this weekend as they are set to host a four-game series against UMSL beginning on Friday at 3 p.m.
