BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The second-seeded UAH women's basketball team advanced to the 2025 Truist Gulf South Conference Women's Basketball Championship game with a 51-48 victory over third-seeded Lee on Saturday afternoon in the GSC tournament semifinals. UAH improves to 25-5, while LU slides to 24-6.

The Chargers will make the program's third all-time appearance in the GSC tournament championship game on Sunday at noon against first-seeded Union. UAH last appeared in the GSC tournament championship in 2013, which was also the program's first conference title.

Lili Wilken led the Chargers offense with 21 points against the Flames, as she went 7-for-18 from the field across 34 minutes on the floor. She also added six rebounds and a team-best three steals in a strong all-around performance.

Alexis Woods generated her second straight double-double in the GSC tournament, turning in an 18-point, 11-rebound performance in Saturday's semifinal matchup. She went 7-for-16 from the floor in her 30 minutes of action.

The Chargers additionally held the edge over the Flames in rebounds (39-25), bench points (18-6), points off turnovers (13-5) and points in the paint (20-14).

The winner of Sunday's GSC championship game against Union will also receive an automatic bid to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II South Region Women's Basketball Championships beginning next week on the No. 1 seed's campus.
