HUNTSVILLE | The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association announced its 2025 All-Region honors on Friday afternoon and UAH baseball was represented by
Brock Butler as a first team honoree at the designated hitter position.
This is Butler's first time as an All-South Region honoree and represents the third straight season in which UAH has had at least one player haul in first team honors and fourth straight season with a member of the All-Region team. Most recently,
Merik Carter was named first team NCBWA All-South last season.
The Meridian, Mississippi, native notched a .299 batting average this season as a DH and knocked 16 home runs to lead the Chargers in the category. Additionally, Butler totaled 50 RBI with 11 doubles and drew a team-leading 32 walks this season. Earlier this season, the senior was named the NCBWA National Hitter of the Week along with earning GSC Player of the Week honors.
