HUNTSVILLE | The Gulf South Conference announced its 2025 baseball season awards on Thursday and UAH baseball was represented by
Brock Butler as a first team honoree at the designated hitter position.
This is Butler's first time as an All-GSC honoree and represents the 16th straight season in which UAH has had at least one player haul in first team honors. Most recently,
Merik Carter was named first team All-GSC last season.
The Meridian, Mississippi, native notched a .299 batting average this season as a DH and knocked 16 home runs to lead the Chargers in the category. Additionally, Butler totaled 50 RBI with 11 doubles and drew a team-leading 32 walks this season. Earlier this season, the senior was named the NCBWA National Hitter of the Week along with earning GSC Player of the Week honors.
UAH concluded their season last Saturday against West Alabama at Charger Park.
