HUNTSVILLE | UAH head softball coach Melanie Carter has announced the hiring of Maddie Cartron as an Assistant Graduate Coach for the upcoming 2025–26 season.

Cartron, a former Charger standout, joined the UAH program in 2022 after transferring from Wallace State Community College. During her time at UAH, she made an immediate impact with her work ethic, leadership, and competitive drive.

She earned her degree in Sports and Fitness Management with a minor in Business, laying a strong foundation for her transition into coaching.
