KENOSHA, Wis. | The UAH men's and women's cross country teams competed Saturday morning at the Lucian Rosa Invite in Kenosha.
The men, ranked No. 21 nationally, finished ninth overall as a team behind a standout performance from Ahmed Ibrahim. The senior captured the men's 8K individual title with a time of 24:10.1. Also scoring for the Chargers were Nate Pohlsander (25:55.3), Tripp Miller (26:15.5) and Evan Christopher (26:21.1).
On the women's side, UAH placed 18th overall as a team. Catherine Truemper led the Chargers with a 22:56.7 finish, followed closely by teammates Tamsyn Gibbs (23:16.8), Sarah Hertz (23:20.8) and Lexi Hinote (23:23.7).
The Chargers return to action on Saturday, Oct. 11, when they host the UAH Chargers XC Invite at John Hunt Park. The men's 8K begins at 8 a.m., followed by the women's race at 8:50 a.m.
