HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's basketball team hosted Gulf South Conference opponent Christian Brothers on Sunday afternoon in SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall and defeated the Bucs 71-56 for their fifth consecutive win.
The Chargers improved to 11-3 (6-2 GSC) with the win, while the Bucs dropped to 2-9 (1-6 GSC).
UAH was led in scoring by
Thomas Allard who totaled 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting with seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block.
Quentin Toles totaled 12 points and surpassed 1,000 career points in the game.
Matt Thurman added 15 points with a 3-for-7 mark from behind the arc along with six boards.
On the defensive end,
Knute Wood had active hands as he tallied four steals to go along with seven points.
The Chargers outpaced the Bucs with a 10-to-3 advantage in bench points along with 11 assists to just two for CBU. UAH additionally had nine steals in the game and caused 14 total CBU turnovers.
