BIRMINGHAM – The University of Alabama in Huntsville women's soccer defender Prescott Hull has been named Second Team All-Gulf South Conference, the league announced Monday as part of its 2026 women's soccer yearly awards.
Hull has been a fixture on the back line for a Chargers defense that has recorded six shutouts this season and helped UAH advance to the semifinals of the GSC Championship.
The junior started all 15 games during the regular season and logged 1,322 minutes, while also making an impact on the offensive end with two goals, one assist and five points. Hull finished the regular season tied for the team lead in goals and points and added one game-winning goal.
One of her biggest performances came in UAH's GSC opener at West Alabama, when Hull played all 90 minutes in a shutout and scored the game-winning goal with 43 seconds remaining in a 1-0 victory. The performance earned her GSC Defender of the Week honors.
Hull continued to anchor the Chargers' defense in Sunday's GSC Championship quarterfinal at Union, playing all 110 minutes as UAH battled the Bulldogs to a 1-1 draw before advancing 4-2 in penalty kicks. Hull also converted one of the Chargers' four successful attempts in the shootout.
The victory sent UAH to the GSC semifinals for the first time since the Spring 2021 season. The sixth-seeded Chargers will face second-seeded Lee at 6 p.m. CT Friday, Nov. 6, at the Loretta P. Spencer Sports Complex Championship Field in Huntsville.
