BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | The Gulf South Conference has named Lili Wilken of the UAH Chargers women's basketball as its Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

The honor marks Wilken's fourth Player of the Week selection this season and the sixth of her career. She is now tied for the UAH women's basketball program record for career Player of the Week honors. Wilken is also one award shy of matching the UAH women's basketball single-season record, held by Jordan Smith, and three shy of tying the overall UAH career record across all sports, held by former women's lacrosse standout Nicole Fedorovitch.

Wilken helped lead the Chargers to a 2-0 week with home victories over Delta State and Mississippi College, improving UAH's record to 21-4 overall and 16-1 in Gulf South Conference play. The Chargers also remained undefeated at home (12-0) and became the first women's basketball team to clinch a spot in the upcoming GSC Tournament.

Over the two-game stretch, Wilken totaled 48 points, 16 rebounds, eight assists, and three steals while shooting a perfect 8-for-8 from the free-throw line. She set the tone early against Mississippi College, scoring 11 points in the first quarter, matching the Choctaws' team total for the entire period.

Wilken continues to lead the Chargers into the final stretch of the regular season. UAH will travel to Memphis, Tennessee, on Thursday to face Christian Brothers at 5:30 p.m. CT before taking on Union in Jackson, Tennessee, on Saturday at 2 p.m. CT.

The Chargers will then return home to SportsMED Arena inside Spragins Hall for their final three regular-season games.
