HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's basketball team fell in a Gulf South Conference matchup against Montevallo 84-60 on Saturday at SportsMED Arena in Spragins Hall.
The Chargers dropped to 19-8 (14-7 GSC), while Montevallo improved to 19-7 (15-5 GSC).
The first half was a low-scoring affair at 35-31 with both teams being held under 40 percent from the field in the half. In the second half, Montevallo improved to 56.7 percent from the field, while UAH's shooting woes continued as they went just 3-for-21 from three point land. The Falcons outscored UAH 49-to-29 in the second half.
Bryce Mason led the way for the Chargers with 15 points at 4-for-9 from the field with a 7-for-8 mark from the free throw line.
Jordan Mabe had a team-high two blocks for the Chargers, while Mason also added one block.
Next up for UAH is their final home regular season game on Friday, February 27th against West Alabama at 7:30 p.m.
