Women’s Basketball Picks Up 20th Win, Moves to 11–0 at Home

HUNTSVILLE, ALA | Women's Basketball picked up their 20th win of the season Thursday night, defeating Delta State 83–45 at SportsMED Arena inside Spragins Hall.

The victory keeps UAH undefeated at home this season, improving to 11–0 on their home floor.

Delta State controlled the early moments, holding a 12–11 lead after the first quarter as UAH shot just 35 percent from the field. The Chargers found their rhythm in the second quarter, shooting 72 percent and outscoring the Lady Statesmen 23–16 to take a 34–28 lead into halftime.

After the break, UAH took complete control. The Chargers dominated the second half, outscoring Delta State 49–17 to turn a competitive game into a decisive victory.

Lili Wilken led the way once again, scoring 17 of her game-high 25 points in the first half to help keep UAH within striking distance early and give the Chargers momentum entering the break.

Ivey Maddox provided a spark in the second half, finishing with 12 points as UAH steadily extended its lead. Bella White also delivered a strong all-around performance, scoring 16 points while shooting 4-for-7 from the field, 2-for-3 from 3-point range, and a perfect 2-for-2 from the free throw line.

UAH returns to action Saturday afternoon, hosting Mississippi College at SportsMED Arena inside Spragins Hall. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m., as the Chargers look to remain perfect at home.
