HUNTSVILLE | The UAH men's lacrosse team kicked off their Peach Belt Conference schedule on Saturday afternoon against Flagler and fell to the Saints 14-5 at Charger Park.
The Chargers fell to 3-9 (0-1 PBC), while Flagler improved to 7-4 (1-0 PBC).
The Saints held a 1-0 lead after one quarter, but would stretch their lead to 6-1 before the halftime break. In the second half, UAH scored four goals, but Flagler continued to build on their lead with eight of their own before closing out the match with a 14-5 final score.
Three Chargers recorded two points in the game as
John Alit and
Chris Aiello scored two goals, while
Harrison Skinner tallied a pair of assists.
Logan Pinkerton would round out the scoring column for the Blue & White with one goal.
UAH held a 12-to-11 advantage in faceoffs and a 17-to-11 advantage in saves in the match.
Next up for UAH is a road matchup against Lincoln Memorial on March 28 at noon in Harrogate, Tennessee.
