GREENWOOD, S.C. | The UAH men's lacrosse team traveled to Van Taylor Stadium on Saturday and fell to the Lander Bearcats 17-7 in a Peach Belt Conference matchup.
The Chargers dropped to 3-13 (0-3 PBC), while Lander improved to 6-7 (2-1 PBC).
The Chargers and Bearcats were tied 2-2 after the first quarter, but Lander took control in the second quarter, outscoring UAH 5-0 to build a lead the Chargers could not catch. Lander maintained momentum through the second half, pulling away further in the fourth quarter to secure a 17-7 victory.
Brock Deist led the Chargers with two goals, while Nate Burt, Carson Kingsbury, Aydan Weiszhar, Carter Henninger, and Logan Pinkerton each added one goal apiece.
Lander held the advantage in total shots, 65-23, and shots on goal, 32-13. The Bearcats also led in ground balls, 38-28, and faceoffs, 15-12. UAH was led in goal by Tommy Peer, who recorded 15 saves in the effort.
The Chargers will close out the 2026 regular season on Sunday, April 19, at 12 p.m. against the Virginia State Trojans in Petersburg, Va.
