HUNTSVILLE, Ala. | The UAH Chargers softball team returns home this weekend to host Trevecca for a three-game Gulf South Conference series at Les Stuedeman Field. The series begins with a doubleheader on Friday at 2 p.m., followed by the finale on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Saturday's contest will feature Senior Day recognition for seven seniors following the conclusion of the game.

UAH enters the weekend with a 30-15 overall record and a 14-10 mark in Gulf South Conference play, while Trevecca comes in at 15-13 overall and 11-13 in conference play.
The Chargers have been one of the top offensive teams in the conference this season, ranking second in the GSC with a .316 team batting average while leading the league with 217 hits.
Mia Brown continues to lead the offense, ranking fourth in the GSC with a .416 batting average while sitting second in the conference in on-base percentage (.523) and RBI (33). Jill Cockrell has also been a key contributor, ranking fifth in the conference in both on-base percentage (.500) and runs scored (41), while posting a .377 batting average. Alexa Douthitt leads the team with 53 hits and has driven in 36 runs this season.
In the circle, Katie Bracken has been dominant, leading the GSC and ranking tied for 12th nationally with 146 strikeouts. She has logged 112.1 innings of work with 13 complete games this season. Megan Shurtz has also continued to be strong in the circle, posting a 2.56 ERA which ranks sixth in the conference.
Trevecca is led offensively by Shay Hollingsworth, who ranks among the top 10 in the GSC with a .394 batting average. In the circle, Bailey Goad leads the Trojans with a 3.13 ERA and a 10-5 record.
Following the weekend series, UAH will travel to face West Alabama in Livingston, Alabama, beginning April 24 at 4 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on April 25 starting at noon.
